GFR summer school
A GFR summer school will be organized at CVR. The event will be aimed at Master and Ph.D. students and young professionals with an interest in the field of GFR technology. The GFR school will be composed of lectures given by experts from the project partners’ institutions. The lectures will cover wide range of topics related to the GFR such as reactor concept and design, safety, materials, neutronics modelling and the core layout and thermal hydraulic. The major part of the school will be then focused on practical exercises and hand-on experiments on facilities operated at CVR, such as HTHL loop for materials tests or thermal hydraulic S-Allegro loop. Also, a seminar/workshop dedicated to advanced modelling techniques will be organized by the Cambridge University. It will also help to attract students and young researchers to participate in the benchmarking activity done in T5.2.
Advanced modelling workshop
Advanced modelling workshop will be organized by University of Cambridge, targeting at students and young professionals dealing with CFD and other high-fidelity computational tools.
